Spiritual Education & The Focus of the Mind

There is a lot of doom and gloom in many circles, especially religious and spiritual ones. It’s been very rampant since the fall of last year although it’s been going on for decades. I’m sure many of the prophecies and predictions even from reliable head on their shoulder’s types, hasn’t come to pass. Yet it continues.

This consciousness of doom, gloom, calamity, and the need for survival preparation seems to have taken precedence over religious and spiritual education. The fervor of these prophecies and their interpretations of would be events, has created some hysteria. The response has been where people get into a survival mode placing all their time, energy, and resources into these activities while others have completely closed themselves off to the unthinkable by burying themselves in whatever form of media they have available. Sugar, drugs, alcohol, and entertainment help many to dull the pain of fear and hopelessness as well.

Where are the religious/spiritual leaders who should be giving the message of hope, love, and the salvation of our souls? Why is there not more intense teachings on the true meaning of life and our being? If we believe we are co-creators with God, then shouldn’t we be focusing our mental and emotional energies on our spiritual path and the connection we have to the almighty instead of all the bad news that is prevalent in the world?

If we focus on our God Presence, we will find peace, love, joy, and hope! We don’t have to ignore the events of returning karma in the world, but many need to be taken in and taught why the events in the world are happening along with the abundant life and the possibilities there are in the future. Yes, the planet is in turmoil and needs a great healing. Yes, we need to prepare for the worst but we must also live for the best which I believe many have forgotten is possible. Our purpose here on earth is to achieve a higher level of understanding which requires dedicated people to teach and to live by example that the possibilities that lie ahead of us are filled with great promise of a good life and not one of doom and gloom.

Thank you for this beautiful article. As i was reading thru, a very light feeling emerges from within. There is a connection.

We are Pranic healers from Manila, Philippines. We have a meditation composed by Master Choa Kok Sui aptly named “Twin Hearts Meditation”. Its main purpose is to heal Mother Earth. However, a multitude of benefits is begotten by those who practice this meditation since Divine Energy passes to him/her to bless the earth.

It would be our pleasure to share it to those who wish to experience it.

I’m not familiar with this site. For those interested, please advice us how we can send this meditation to you. (The file is in mp3 format around 25Mb.)

well said! the world we have made for ourselves seems often to be a vast desert of quicksand — where every step is dangerous, and where F-E-A-R is thrust at us from every direction. once we understand, though, that F-E-A-R (as someone so brilliantly observed) is actually False-Expectations-Appearing-Real — we are liberated from it!! if we hold onto the False Expectations, they will indeed manifest — but if we drop them, and realize instead that we are extensions of Perfect Infinite Eternal Being, which nothing can threaten or harm … then we know there is nothing to F-E-A-R…!

thanks for reminding us to be what we really are….

” How would I use this?” That depends on where you’re at mental, physically, emotionally, and spirituality. You need to evaluate what your greatest need is and where you can make progress. but most of all to maintain peace!
